这个做法是不符合法律规定的：
首先，逾期交房是开发商的违约责任，违约责任的承担方式按照合同的约定是支付违约金或者支付赔偿金，或者产生您本人解除合同的权利等。

但您拒绝收房的行为在法律上属于您拒绝受领，在拒绝受领的情况下产生的问题是比较复杂的，例如拒绝受领的情况下标的物灭失怎么办？物业管理费用是否产生等。
在您拒绝受领的情况下，开发商的交房责任在法律上视为其已经完成。
我们给您的建议是您尽快受领房屋，同时向开发商主张违约金的赔偿。
如果开发商拒绝立即赔偿，按照合同的约定，您可以向人民法院提起诉讼或者申请仲裁。
